ISO Meaning :

ISO: is international organization for standardization. In short it is international worldwide organization for maintain worldwide acceptable standards. There are some norms in a standard which should be following by the organization. ISO Certified organization means that organization is maintaining its system as per International Standard which is applicable and acceptable worldwide. There are a lot of ISO standards which are applicable on organization according to their work nature. For example: ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001:2015 (Environment Management System), ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System), ISO 22000:2018 (Food Safety Management System) etc. Standards of ISO revise time to time as per current time and global requirement. For example ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System) was ISO 9001:2000, but after seven years standards was upgraded into ISO 9001:2008 and some norms were revised and after its seven year it is currently ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System) now.
